i have been working for a few years on my own now. i have been doing work for two letting agents, one of which is starting to build on a couple of sites soon. i will be offered the chance, i hope, to price for these sites but what do i need to do to be able to sign installations off? please only answer my thread if you are sure about the answer.

yeah im assuming the property is mostly domestic in which case would be notifiable unless a minor work.....Funny actually i have done work for letting agents before and come across some OUTRAGIOUS electrical instalations i have adviced on upgrade and need of testing certs and they not interested...ignored. how do they get away with it?

If it not domestic then as pushrod says you need to be compentent person....thats certainly not saying you dont need to be if is domestic
