Hey Guys,
Advice required, I am Qualified 17th edition and 2391 Inspec and test, I am currently not registered to self certify and have been asked by a friend to do some minor modifications in a shop he is opening and then provide a Periodic which I assume is for insurance purposes to confirm the condition/safety of the installation.
Does anybody know how to get around this without self certifying, I assume you would do this through local building control but have no experiance of dealing with them?
For info I am planning to register with NIC however he needs this doing within the next couple of weeks and have not even applied with them yet.
Any info would be great.
