Hi Everyone,

I would just like to start with saying that I have no background in the electrical field so please forgive me for my ignorance.

Basically, I'm looking to buy a Multimeter that is accurate enough to measure as low as 100 mV AC. I've been told that not all Multimeter are accurate enough to measure as low as that range. Is that true? Could anyone please tell me if this Multimeter would be suitable (Mastech MS8268 Auto/manual range digital multimeter)? Could anyone suggest a suitable alternative?

Many Thanks

Tom

The best name IMHO is Fluke. But opinions may differ. There are many brands around, the more you splash out the more you get. Depends really on your budget. I would spend as much I can on a decent meter.
