I had a look at the test meters website there, been a while since I was on it looking at testers, I now have a puddle of drool on my desk.....I need to start saving the pennies for some new test kit.....hhhmmm test kit.. :()

Using 415V adaptors you can carry out Earth Bond and Insulation testing, but only up to the switch the the 415V appliance. You will need to know the details of the appliance (16, 32 or 63A and 4 or 5 pin).

Seaward have recently launched adaptors for more thorough 3-phase testing, but they only currently work with their Primetest 250 PAT tester.
If any of you are interested in these check them out on: Seaward TPA 3-Phase PAT Adaptor (32A) - Three Phase PAT Adaptor - PAT Testing Equipment - PAT Testing Adaptors - Seaward TPA 3-Phase PAT Adaptor (32A)
They are only available for 5 pin - 16A or 32A.

its just the gf bought me kewtech kt74 hasnt arived yet and i know one place i will be testing soon(cafe) has 400v appliances. is there leads for this tester???

ps she never new new about 5% discount in test meter. sorry if you think im being rude asking you questions about something didnt buy from yourself

That's OK. The Kewtech KT74 was discontinued some time ago so we wouldn't be able to supply that tester anyway at the moment.
We do sell a variety of 415V adaptors which are perfectly fine to use with that or any other PAT tester. As mentioned above you do need to know exactly which 415V appliances that you will be testing and they using these you can only carry out Earth Bond and Insulation testing.
Full range on: PAT Testing Adaptors - Extension leads, 110V, 415V, 3 phase, 16A, 32A, 63A - PAT Testing Equipment - PAT Testing Adaptors

Hmmm. I don't know. That is Kewtech's decision. As far as I know it was just a choice made at is was quite an old model scoped around the previous Robin SmartPAT range. I think they had just had their run, but I do not know the exact reason for their decision.
