Single or Double Metal box for 10mm?

Hi all

What's everyone's choice of box for connected two 10mm t&e for a shower or cooker circuit?

IMO a single isolator in a kitchen looks smarter than a double isolator.

However, it's easier to terminate in a double.

Well seeing as you can fit 2x10mm² into a box and terminate it correctly use a single box, just make sure it is deep enough though

Has to be a 47mm box, still causing swearing tho!

use 6mm. that will handle any cooker or a shower up to 10.5kW (as long as the insulation monkeys are locked up in the zoo). and, of course, that the run is not so long as to incur an unacceptable VD.

As Tel says, there are enough methods to employ to facilitate the use of 6mm for both types of circuit, that 10mm need hardly ever come out the bag except when unavoidable.
