hi

I'm having a problem with an RCBO tripping out and it is unlikely to be a N-E fault. I suspect the associated neutrals have been terminated into the wrong RCBO even though there is no load connected as all the RCBO's feed unused sockets. The board itself is 3 phase and I am wondering if this alone is enough to trip the RCBO'S.

Can anyone advise, thanks.

Why isit unlikey to be a N-E ?

Unused sockets - apart from the spur the builder did feeding a perm connected fridge or whatever that mr.client forgot to mention.

Follow the testing procedures...you'll get to the bottom of it, perseeverance my son :)

You can prove your theory by plugging a load into all the other sockets 1 at a time and see if any Rcbo trip.

However it's easy enough to prove the neutral is wrong in the problematic Rcbo.

You need to do what I do now on here... Assume people don't know how to test, or fault find. that's the way this forum and the industry is going!

Its a very basic question which shows a lack of knowlege.
Are you an apprentice, new tradesman or maybe a electrical trainee?
You are not getting much help here because it is so basic and on the off chance you are a Electrical Trainee, nobody will help.
If you were to explain something like, always did domestic sparky work and not sure about tp&n, maybe you would receive more help.

If your unsure the correct Neutral is in the RCBO then very basic testing can clarify this... im sorry but just asking such a question means you are not competent, this should be in the DIY section and TBH DIYers shouldn't be delving into 3ph systems IMHO.
