Well my old radio has eventually packed up and in desperate need of a new one. (My singing is awful)
Really I want a DAB radio but notice that Bosch (all my tools are Bosch) don't do one.
I don't really want to have to buy one plus a battery charger ie Matika so have any of you guys have ideas for a decent site radio.
Cheers

you could run it off your bosch batteries if you wanted, i used a 12v car radio fed from a 12v battery

ammo can £20
fm radio £20
aerial £15
speakers £20
battery £?
total £75 ish

my 5ah 12v battery and charger cost around £25

halfrauds have a dab sony radio for £70 i bet you can get one cheaper online

Buy one from Argos for £30, when it falls apart, speakers get full of dust or plaster, charger packs up, go to Argos and get one for £30. If you not going to get a 'Site Radio', what other options do you have?

Have a look at screw-the-fix. They got a Bosch site Radio. I know it’s not DAB, but it might still do you.

Right, your in a bit of luck here Red, I too got all Bosch gear and use a Makita DAB radio.

Assuming its the 18v Lithium bosch you got then these batteries fit and power the Makita radio, but make sure you got a slim Bosch battery if you want to close the back of the stereo, its quite a squeeze but it does close and works just fine.

I already knew this before I purchased the stereo and personally think the Makita DAB is the best site radio on the market for nearly half the price of the Bosch boombox !

my only problem with the makita dab is too much bass, wierd really as playing from 3.5 and fm doesnt have that problem

I've got makita, got rid of silly transformer and stuck one in the back with stuffing gland, flex and plug top. Bass control would be good. Can't get it to work off Bosch battery though...
