hi all

so basicaly im moving into the inlaws this weekend and they have sky +,at the moment i have free sat(my box i can also record etc) i was wondering how do i go about geting free sat in the new bedroom?,could i simply come off the sky dish with my cable for my freesat box?also i was wondering hw would i go about geting sky in the bedroom if i got another sky box, with one of those digi eye thingys?the reason for this is they have all of the sky channels and with my freesat box then i would also be able to record in my room aswell if atcaly possible to do?

sorry if its prity basic stuff but i dont tend to deal with this side of things

thanks in advance

The digi eye will only remotely control the box downstairs so whatever channel you select upstairs will be the channel they view downstairs

If you want to view different channels upstairs and downstairs then your option would be sky multi room on your in laws sky subscription

You can run freesat off there dish, if they got sky plus the chances are that they will have a quad lnb which will have two spare outlets on the dish. Freesat runs off the same satellite as sky. As for the magic eye UNG ^^^ covered that. Hope this helped
