Cirrus

I have Sky+ and my daughter wants to have Sky in her room. I have a second digibox and cable so will connect straight to the LNB. Does anyone know what connectors I need at the LNB end and also at her digibox end?

being an observer and only an amatuer at media installations can i say; Sky + best thing since sliced bread... what was the best thing before sliced bread?

I know you used to utilise a dual-lnb to watch independant channels but not sure about sky+.....thought it might be worth a mention.

they're called f-connectors/plugs cirrus...simple as to fit...good tip's to coat the end in silicone grease to prevent corrosion...and cover in self-amalgamating tape to prevent water ingress.

these ones: Satellite Plug F Type

Hve you thought about distributing the sky plus signal around the house?

Thats wht i hve done, output from the sky+ to 8 way aeriel booster in the attic, drop to each rooms, you can watch the recorded signal as well

Unless you are going to pay for multiroom (got that as well) you wont have anything other than free channels because the card is refernced to the box, you cant just swop them about
and if you re going to pay for multiroom sky will come and install the second box anyway;)
