Hi All,
Got a customer who at the moment has this set up....
Analogue aerial and Sky dish both feeding into the Sky box. Then from RF2 it has been split in the loft to feed a TV in the kitchen and another in the bedroom so they can CURRENTLY get the 5 analogue stations plus what ever is on the Sky box i.e. channnels 1,2,3,4,5 then 6 for Sky. We are about to have the analogue signal turned off (July 6th) and they want to get the DTV channels and still the Sky ones on the kitchen and bedroom TV's. Now the TV in the kitchen is going to be replaced with one with built in Freeview BUT the bedroom one is going to have a Freeview box added !!!. If we change the aerial for a digital one will the Sky channels still be viewable in either the bedroom or the kitchen. I'm going to assume that we will have to change the current spiller for a digital compatible one of some desription. I will also assume that the RF2 output is an analogue one ?? which I think is the stumbling block here. all the TV's of course only have one co-ax feed from the loft.
You may have guessed also that they are trying to do this on a budget.
Thanking you in anticipation.
Cheers,
Lofty.
