Hi Guys,
I'm looking to send sky to 4 rooms in my house. I have 4 coaxial cables coming from each room up into the attic, can anyone tell what I need to join the cables and to transmit the signal to the 4 rooms?Do I need to run a coax from the back of the digbox etc.

James

You will need a coax from the RF2 from the back of the Sky box to a tv amp in the loft.

This then feeds the other rooms, but they will only be able to watch what everyone else is watching on sky.

Be carefull though with amplifiers, if you ramp it up too much you will get a horrible picture, some of the amps are adjustable. Also, if you are thinking about putting a remote eye in each of the bedrooms to change channel the amp will need to have a digital bypass

Aye have a wireless sender and reciever that i use to watch sky in my bedroom works a treat and comes with remote infra -red eye so i can change channel in bed . The ones i have just plug into the scart sockets and are quite discreet .

Yes thats what I have made by Technika, I am on virgin though and it doesnt show the programs etc as you change channel

Thanks lads for the replies.Think I'll go with the wireless sender..

YOu will struggle to get one to work reliably to 4 rooms much better idea is

AErial into Sky box, Sky box RF2 out to Dist amp (ÂŁ30 most are Eye compatible) then from amp to 4 bedrooms that way you get UHF/DVB-T/ and the sky channel and eyes and you get remote control add Cat5 and you can do a whole lot more!
