skype advice

running skype on new laptop our end is ok but 1 of our friends laptop crashes when she uses her skype
have googled for an answer but nothing definitive
all help welcome

What type of operating system does she have is it the same as yours and is it a PC or MAC laptop.

As much detail of the problem as you can please the other thing to look at does she get an error code if so put that into google and that should tell you what the problem is

its a pc with vista no error code it just drops the call and then says if you have new software uninstall it and reinstall it
the wife is seeing her tomorrow and will get more info

Seems to me that skype is conflicting with another program check that the internet security program she has is allowing skype to access the internet.

It that is ok you will probably need to disable programs one at a time and try it out start with the usual suspects that access the internet ie the internet security program, antivirus program, windows defender and windows messenger.
