Has anyone else noticed that the G59/2 protection settings of the SMA STP inverters have changed recently.
For example the upper limit AC voltage was 253/264.5 V but it is now 264/276 V. I assume it is adding 10% onto 240V as opposed to 230V.
This has been taken from the factory settings cert of the inverter, which states it is G59/2.
However, speaking to a DNO, they advised that they run their calculations based on the fact that 253 volts is the max the inverter will push out and anything above that would not be G59/2 approved.
Have I missed a revision to the regs to deem these new values acceptable?
