Does anyone know when SMA's microinverters are due for release in the UK in 2013?

Has anyone seen them at trade fares yet?

How good are the alternatives i.e Enphase, Enecsys et al?

They look very good, however UK won't get them until Q3-Q4 this year probably.
I saw them last year at SMA America - Designed for small systems - up to 12 panels.
American launch is due 'soon'...I'll find out for sure in 2weeks when I'm back their.

Enphase has 96% CEC Efficiency versus, SMA's 95.5%.
It has a wider MPP tracking voltage range.
Both have maximum input DC voltages of 45V, designed for 60 cell solar pv modules.
I wonder what SMA's nightime power consumption is?
Enphase consumes: 50mW at night.
The SMA's topology is a HF transformer.
Not sure what Enphases topology is.

Ahah that'll be the same Q3 they had in 2012 will it :) Pig flys by again ....
