Has anybody had any recent experience of SMA's service line? I have been waiting for 2 days for someone to get back to me having written e-mails, left telephone messages, sent SMS requests for call backs and waited on the phone to Germany for 30 mins at a time before losing the will to live. I haven't even received an acknowledgement from them.

Not sure how they can claim to offer a 'rapid device replacement service' if you can't get through to them in the first place.

I'm not very impressed at the moment, especially as I am trying my best to sort out a problem for our customer with the minimum of disruption.

they've always been very good for us, but I believe there is / has recently been a FIT cut date in Germany, so could be temporarily rushed off their feet.

I wanted to send two guys to the new SMA training academy in milton keynes however their chap informs me that they are switching to webbased training. As I said before the German's aren't happy with the Brit's with the whole FIT fiasco !

I always get first class service off the tech lads at sma on this number 01908 304 850
