Alright Lads

After some meter advice, just moved into a new house and the elec meter is a E470 & Gas is a Libra 310.
Now I'm assuming these are the new smart meters, but are they PAYG or monthly bill.. Or can they be configured for either. I've no info whatsoever, and the previous owner lives in the USA now and I've literally just gotten the keys and don't fancy running it of Gas or Elec.

Cheers, I'd of done the homework myself but very little 3G to surf the net in current location ( new house) and waiting for BB to be installed :-(

Ye, the same old government promises, I can't see the whole of the UK done for a fair number of years yet.

Check out how long the digital switchover was going to be, then actually was.
And there weren't any home visits involved in that.

External electric meters aren't a problem, but to changeover any Gas meter the property has to be occupied or the gas will have to be left isolated and a revisit made.
