Smoke alarm for NIC assessment evidence

Afternoon all.

I having been trawling the internet all morning in search of a fire detection and alarm system in dwellings all morning but have had no luck so far!

Does anyone know where I can find an adequate form to fill in and give to the NIC?

Also, do they actually expect me to get a sound level monitor and take Db readings, or is that only required in certain cases?

you can fins information about this on Electrical Safety Advice at Home & Work : Electrical Safety Council or there was a section on NICEIC web site. why don't you give them a ring or send an email

Call Nic an enquire directly about their requirements. IEE do a small book on alarm requirements, same size as osg
