smoke alarm new build

been asked by architect if the smoke alarm cable has to be fire rated ??

first thoughts is no t&e cable is all it needs but is there any special requirements

its a 196 sq ft house 1 ground and 1st floor

T/E cable with 3 core/E for the link is fine. you can use FP200 if you want, but there's no need.
