Hi guys when doing a pir report on domestic houses should you report on no heat detectors?

Quick answer is no , but I would advise the customer of their advantages.

I wouldn't as an EICR only covers BS 7671-2008, and smokes come under BS 5839.
You can though if you wish in a cover letter highlight the advantages of having them and the ESC do some good guides to why and you could give them these as well.
