Can anyone shed some light on this is it a TNS SYSTEM what is involved etc.

So if the S in SNC stands for single, does the C in CNE stand for couple?

think the C stands for combined as in TNC-S. combined neutral/earth. yhis might be useful:

CNE is used in to describe DNO cables that combine the neutral and earth, not as a term to describe the earthing arrangements of their network.

Thank you Mechelec, but I am aware of what the initials SNE and CNE refer to.
I was just being frivolous.

Also PNB = TN-C-S, only see it every now and then in the sticks mind.
