Hi all
if you change a c/u ,add a socket to the ring , wire a shower point and bond main services,do you have to issue a cert for the c/u and minor works for the socket and another cert for the shower (which will be on the c/u cert) and which cert do you issue for main bonding only

thanks john

if your doing the lot as a job lot it will be an installation certificate with test results for every circuit as the cu is being replace could be wrong as i dont do domestics

Do some basic tests before you start the CU change just incase you have any lurking problems e.g.split rings, borrowed neutrals, then certify all the work on the EIC as everyone else has stated.

Just be sure that you clearly state in the extent covered box on the EIC exactly what you have done and what you are certifying, covers you if anything goes Pete Tong in the future with a part of the install that you didn't work on.

I agree with Lenny, be very specific on the cert what you did so you dont end up taking responsibility for something you did not do.

HI All
if you carry out just bonding of main services which cert do you fill in if its a eic what readings do you put down ???
