Just wondered how many solar installers on here actually have a system on their roof at home/work

i will start it off 4 kw on home and 4kw on office roof

sorry for spelling mistake i type to fast lol

we've got an 80 tube solar water heating system fitted on our main roof that we fitted a few years ago, and only had room for a 900Wp PV system on our south facing porch roof.

I have one at my house (1.4 kWp)
Two out of four of my installer have 4 kwp
My survey in Scotland has bought a 4kwp yingli & Solar edge from us

I am moving to a new house so I will be installing 4 kwP south facing yingli & soalr edge

so the most of us have a system who work for MEP electrical

do you think pv would be more viable than solar thermal.
not now that we've already installed the thermal - we did that pre-fits, so at the time thermal was the more viable option.

I still love the solar heated water for my showers in the morning anyway.

4 Kw and solar thermal on home, (Sanyo/ SMA and Barilla)

2kW and ASHP on office (Sanyo/SMA and Mitsubishi)

4.5kW (Hyundai / SMA ) and solar thermal (Barilla) and ground source heat pump (Danfoss) on French holiday home. (its remote- no gas)
Solar thermal (Joule) on Hungarian holiday home.

One of our installers has 7kW (Schott) on his home and 3kW (Schott) on his brothers, and one of the apprentices has 2.5kW (Upsolar) on his mums house.
