Socket & See LOD10
Lock off device, It doesn't seem safe to me, eg with minimal force, it could be ripped off.
Does any one have one, and think I've got it wrong and it's OK ?

What would you recommend instead ?

I haven't got one but they should be reasonably secure. It will never be stronger than the MCB itself.
You could take your choice from a range of different devices depending on what you need.
Have a look here and see.

It's the same as the kewtech ones I have got, which are a touch cheaper for the same thing.
I've been using them for a while now and have no issue with them, they seem to fit pretty much every mcb out there.

You say they look easy to remove without unlocking, but the same is true for any mcb lockout. I've had to bust a few of the little metal ones when the screw head gets broken by ham fisted idiots, and others when people manage to loose the key. My point is that if someone is determined enough to ignore the sign you attached and try to remove a lockout then there is not much that will stop them!

I like Brady lockout kits.

Thanks for the replies - If think I might have been flapping unnecessarily.
I thought one that locked 'squarer' on to both sides of switches rather than a pointed screw on the top.
