I've been asked to do a periodic inspection on a property I have come across all the socket outlets flush in the skirting board. Can someone shed some light on this If this is acceptable on a periodic or do i recommend to raise them all up. Thanks in advance.

Have a read of reg 553.1.6 and if it what you have complies then as Dan said it's fine

How close to the floor? If the cable has to bend too tightly to the plug you could consider an observation if there is a real chance of damage to cables or any evidence of this.

EDIT: must learn to type faster ;)
