Solar Panel Labels (Make your own?)

Is there anything stopping you from buying your own self adhesive A4 sheets and printing your own labels? If not, does anyone know where you can download them in order to print them off yourself? Have searched other posts but can't see anything covering this.

Of course you can make your own - why on earth shouldn't you? There's plenty of suitable logos available free on the net for any graphics needed, and then it's just printing them off. Get down to your local office equipment shop and buy some Avery labels of whatever size you need, and you'll be able to download some free Avery software to compose and print the labels you want. Simplez!

I'm sure you could make them last 25years. Granted external labels would need to be extra strong, I just need to know where I can download the labels. Think they need to be a certain size and style so that they look the part.

The label packs are good but they never seem to have enough of the DC labels as you are supposed to have them at regular intervals along the DC cable run so that no-one accidentally chops into one thinking it's coaxial cable.

I therefore knocked up a template to print onto self adhesive labels. We use these in the roof space where cabling is run along rafters etc. Feel free to use them yourself. They should print nicely onto Staples laser labels that have the same template size as J8162/L7162 TM.

I do engraved ones esp for outside. Also set up for engraving the schematic as it will definately last 25 years

Point to note, the majority of printed labels will last 3-5 years in direct sunlight. If you do get a local sign maker to print them, ask for "laminate and contour cut" for out doors, as this will increase the life by a bit. For direct sunlight, there is very little that will last 25 years in the sun, except deep engraved brass...........
