Solar panel manuals usually have little information about the installation, the problem is there is no comprehensive guide to suite all installations, there are a few books out there but they are very expensive and required as part of MCS.

I will look through all the stuff we have in digital format and see if any of it is usefull, I have a number of installation manuals from fixing kits of which have their quirks, inverter manuals are coming out of my ears, all the other information tend to be limited and enough to fit on the back of a smoke packet.

Cheers glen mate

i take it the inverter is what tells the person how much energy is sorted ?

Could you please mate

Cheers

lol no need to be over friendly,

you need to work from the ground up by the sounds of it, all the information you need is on this site in the form of topics and posts.

There is no John and Jill or ABC version of installing PV's, If you have no electrical knowledge, no roofing / building knowledge and no knowledge of regulation then there is no point in you proceeding, if it is for simple understanding then no probs but I will not be a personal mentor I will simply point you in the right direction once.

Cheers

For the homeowners, you must have an installation kit for solar power system. Poor installation by novice electricians can not only mean perfectly good solar panels performing poorly but can also be dangerous.
