Yes read it in paper, but although it might sound like a glimmer of light (pun not intended) it would take a long time to legally turn the decision over and see the tarriff reinstated, this might see small compensations for some but long term they will just bring the tarriff in in another method or change the scheme another way to legally bring the lower tarriff in, the 40+ pence was a unsustainable payment and people taking it up was beyond expectation so however the outcome of this case turns out it will be short lived.
 
Just seen this on the BBC website. Not a lot of information on what's going to happen next though.

The key part in this article:

“The new tariff of 21p per kilowatt-hour, down from the current 43p, had been expected to come into effect from 1 April, but in October the government said it would be paid to anyone who installed their solar panels after 12 December”

So, were the goalposts moved further, by then claiming FiT application had to be submitted by Dec 12?
