Hi we have been asked to fit a Solis batteries and inverter to an installation and I wanted to check if the battery set up detailed will work completely independent of the solar panels as they have their own micro inverters fitted.

Its our first exposer to domestic battery set setup and I can't get on the course until end of November

4 PUREDRIVE HYBRID DC BATTERY 5KW
1 SOLIS RAI−3K−48ES−5G

Any advice on these batteries would be apricated

Very hard to speak to technical at Solis and have emailed them with no response

Thanks in advance

Hi I’m waiting for my 20Kwh pure drive batteries to eventually arrive in November.
For my first install thought I would try it on my own house - Tbh setting the system up has been more work than I originally planned which has been a great insight as like you I’m looking to do the ‘official’ training early next year.
Splitting the consumer unit into critical and non critical loads took longer - change over switch install, accrel meter install in consumer unit once enough space created all added up the work load.
How long doother installers quote for when doing a full battery ups back up system?
The marketing materials make it look so easy - turn up- drill a few holes and system is up and running. Not the hours of prep extending cables and wrestling some space for new consumer units 😂
