phone call earlier
"hi i need some lights taking down urgent im moving out tomorrow, could you do it? i got the other lights to go up!"
"yer sure no problem ill try and get to you around 6 tonight!"
got there 4 lights to change, light 1,2,&3 great no problems. light number 4 is in the bathroom, right above the shower(low ceiling) took down,
"right you got the light for here?" "yer here you go!"
to which he produces a batten holder...............
"im sorry i cant put that up!"
" what do you mean? yes you can!"
(blokes getting slightly agitated now!)
"im afraid i cant it doesn't comply with regulations."
"what do you mean, the bloke in home-base said it would be fine!!!!!!!!
need i say anymore???
anyway after a trip to the wholesalers and a quick explanation its all sorted!
this is another reason for diy stores to not sell electrical items!!!!!

rant over!!!

Yes they all quote the guy in the shop who said it will be all right. Its a pity that they dont have to take the blame if it goes wrong.

At least you told the customer how it is for safety and ansuitable lamp is dangerous for that environment.
