SP Service Block

Chaps,

Gotta change a CU in a flat and rather than pulling the main fuse (long story), i have decided to drop the tails from the two single pol service blocks next to the CU.

These service blocks terminals are hex and im not sure of the size so that i can get the appropriate insulated allen key.

Anyone know what size i need to get?

Fit a screw terminal its cheaper than paying for the allen key set, but of course we know nothing about been live!!!! and wont tell anyone, kept losing my insulated allen keys as i very rarely use it so just did the job live!!!!
Ring wholesaler think they should know the size of the allen heads ?

Or before you install them get a normal set of allen keys and try them all to see what size the heads are

If you have an insulated screwdriver with interchangable bits one of the hex ones should fit.Mine did anyway.

I think its 4mm ,got myself a 4mm hex tipped fully insulated for the same reason as you from CEF.Hope this helps.

3mm Hex if it is a grey Lucy service connector box.

Usually they're 3mm but I've had the odd 4mm ones as well.
