Hello,

I have got 3 core and earth cable (L, LS, N connected) running to the inline fan. The earth must not be used on the fan. So I've got a spare cable. I put earth sleeving on the end at the fan. I checked voltage on the other end 28V, so I suppose it must be induced voltage. The cable is brand new and a neat job. What do I do with the other end, can I connect it to the earth terminal, or put on the sleeve?

regards,
simon

Still connect the CPC as it may be required in the future and will provide some protection if the cable is cut or damaged. I always sleeve and terminate the unused end into chocblock and tuck it away neatly.
