i have just been on a job site ( the tool you use to hit a nail with ) and there is loads of customers asking for work to be signed off ( work done by other 3rd party ) and sparks are quoting on this !! how can the goverment be allowing this to happen on this so called well known site as the customer is aware of part p they are just after yet again a cheap job as sparks are signing off kitchen rewires for ÂŁ75 .00 what is wrong with theses sparks as they are only doing themselfs and others out of work as the unregisterd sparks get all the installs with out the hassle and worry of part p

Part P doesn't work. It's that simple. The cowboys will always be out there along with the oppurtunity to make a quick buck. The only people who get ripped off are the decent sparkies trying to do things right and by the book. Your thread comes as no surprise to me, and I reckon other sparkies will tell you the same. The whole thing is a joke i'm sorry to say. :(

I'm a mug who bought a three month 'no obligation' (gee, thanks) membership. Total waste of time. So-called sparks quoting 800 for a three storey rewire.... load of rubbish. Have sent them several emails to stop the membership before I do have an 'obligation', but haven't heard anything back. Twonks.
