This is my first post, although I've read the forum for a few months.
I am a Sparky based in Lancs, and I work for an NICEIC Approved Contractor. I am also the QS on the MCS side, as we are accredited to fit Solar PV systems (not much use after the FiT changes last week!). Didn't enjoy doing the Quality Manual.
I've done industrial, commercial and domestic work, as well as a few Solar PV jobs. Now the solar bubble has burst, I am thinking of getting into AV and home automation. Interested in the CEDIA courses but they are very expensive. I would be grateful for some advice.
I am also interested in emigrating before I am 30 (26 at the moment) so it would be good to speak to anyone who has worked in Canada, Australia, New Zealand or the USA.
