Does it have to be split concentric why not SWA. It isn't widely used in domestic environments and so not many wholesalers don't keep it on the shelf or get much demand for it.

It Isn't as common over near me in and around the south west of london I maybe corrected by someone. If I went and asked at my local Neweys they would tell me it's a special with a special price ;) and it would take two days to come in, I would get the same reaction from EDs. How much difference, diameter wise is it to an equivalent SWA 3 core?

Nice might give it a go one day. Does it not need RCD protection though if buried in a wall or underground or is that only for straight concentric?.

Split concentric cable MUST be treated as if it were twin and earth, when it comes to installation methods as it has no mechanical protection.
