can anyone tell me what a splitter is, and where is it most likely and why please thats the splitter at the incoming main cheers

more than likely the "splitter" is a "splitter box" somthing like a Bemco box The Bemco Board This type of board is used a lot by supply authorities so one supply can feed several i stallations by Latteral sub mains.
