Hi,

Misses wants me to install two lights in the same room (its big). But only have ONE light switch which turns both lights on. So my plan is this. Please correct me if im wrong.

1) One ceiling rose with a power source to it.
2) Live down to light switch, switch live to turn light on.
3) One netural from ceiling rose 1 to ceiling rose 2.
4) A live wire from switch live on ceiling rose 1 to ceiling rose 2.

Sounds good?

I've done numerous small electrical jobs, change lights, install new light in loft but never took an out fittin out and replaced it with two new lights.

I've even done a nice piccy.

Cheers Ant.
