Bit embarrassed to ask this, but can you run a spur from a lighting circuit? If so, is there a limit to how many lights you can put on it?
Can find anything in OSG or BGB.

As davey says, yes you can spur of it. You can add as many lights as you want but dont exceed the rating of the cable, or make the circuit too long that it exceeds the voltage drop limits and/or the maximum earth fault loop impedance.

Thanks very much, can it be considered the same as a radial final circuit according to Appendix 15 then?
Its for my Design project, it just makes working out volt drop more difficult as I am calculating volt drop between every light fitting (instead of the whole circuit in one go) to save on cable size!

As Kit says watch out for max ZS, cable rating and esp VD as that (as Im sure you know), is more critical on lighting circuits. Compare R1+R2 to GN3 to see roughly what you have in meters.
