Square D MCB

Does anyone know if a Square D KQ MCB will fit in a Domae CU? Ta!

don't know for certain but to me it looks like they have just re-branded the square d mcb's to domae.

not too well up with the square d numbers, but if it's the later MCB with the plug-in forks, i think it will fit.

Buy Schneider MCB, Domae Type B, 16A, Single Pole, 230 - 240V AC - DOM16B6

Looks the same to me

Thanks chaps. Looks like it should fit. Just need to downrate a 32a 4mm radial socket circuit due to installation method, could use a 20a but might use a 25a, cos it's for a kitchen. Doing remedials following an EICR, which picked up that 4mm radial in mini-trunking can not carry 32a. Seems a bit petty, but hey.

It's annoying cos they do a 25a MCB in the KQ range but not the DOM range, presumably they don't think people need 25a in domestic scenarios? I've not used that much Square D stuff, but I've just been trying to compare the pics on Neweys. Looks like they should be interchangeable, but I have a niggling doubt.

Had a look at D square board last week same sort of problem found that schneider now own them so that some MCBs come marked up as schneider.

Kitchen circuit supplying washer, dryer, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, boiler, TV plus sockets for kettle, toaster etc. Just wanted to avoid any potential nuisance tripping.

Sorry mate had a look in the van, it was bugging me aswell kq are quickline push in type mcbs, DOM screw in type so defo will not fit!!
narrows down your options abit> jumped in a bit quick before
