Squeaky noisy fan help

HI Chaps any tips for dealing with a Squeking and noisey fan in a bathroom seems to have gotten much louder and anoying of late, its GET coaxial unit that just goes from bathroom wall to flap vent on exterior any parts to lube? about 3 years old ish now

Bearings sound like there on there way out m8. Give it a blast of WD or duck oil.

sorry for dumb --- question any idea where to blast the WD40? Guess i need to take it out the wall to this.

Without totally stripping it down which is normally impossible, with the bearings going as you said it would be better to change it.

You can usually take the front cover off, and use the straw applicator to get to the outer bearing case (whilst it's turned off). Personally I would change it for a better quality fan 5 minute job.

reconmendations for a better fan that will be a direct fit? Think i may have it out the wall tomorrow and have a play it looks like a
GFAN4SLT whats a better option?

Is it a 4in fan?

Any of the vent axia range should be more than up to it.

Well i removed the fan cleaned the outlet duct (full of grey fluff! no idea where it came from) stripped the fan, cleaned it, lubricated it with WD40 around the bearing then dried it, re assembeld it, popped it back and now runs almost silently,

Saves a few pounds doesn't it if only other people had he same attitude of keeping existing stuff working by just mantaining it proply. We changed all the fans in one nursing home because one was making a funny noise that's all 150 fans!
