We were given a list on our course, but the NICEIC inspector pho-pho'ed them and gave me another list.

What are your favourite Standard PIR Limitations?

1. Erection methods

2. Routing of cables in prescribed zones

There are no doubt more but my head is fried today and cant think of any.:(

 Ah I have a hiden agenda, I can't remember what we were told so I'm hopping you can all help me.

The only one I can really remember is "All cable sizes are estimates only"
This can be very important if somebody (eg your inspector) comes along and says "why did you allow a 50 amp MCB on a 4mm Cable" -- sorry gov, you can see I thought it was 6mm.

In all honesty I do sometimes have trouble trying to resolve cable sizes eg 4 from 6 or 6 from 10. But then fortunately so did both of the inspectors that inspected me on that occation.
