Your kit may have come with ejection springs to automatically eject the waste cut out (Oh! So that's what their for.). My ejection springs were bundled free with my Starett kit, purchased at ELEX Exeter, at the beginning of the year. Maybe I just negotiated harder than you with the Starett representative. You can always purchase them separately from Starett.

No no they have a new quick change chuck out the ulti-mate system they realised it at the elex show sanddown they don't even have it on there website yet it's been in the last couple of editions of pro electrician. I've got loads of those springs there mainly for sheet metal ejection double thickness plasterboard doesn't come out as easy lol.

Look for Pro-fit holesaws and arbors same thing but cheaper

Thanks, I used to have the starrett version of there system, identical in every way. Starrett discontinued it as they had so many problems with the springs failing in the arbour and having to replace the whole pilot/arbor when it got blunt. It was a good idea at the time but the new system is great really clunky and the pilot bit can be replaced like a normal arbor :hurray:
