As a New Electrician, are there any good starter kits that one can recommend or should I buy everything seperately.
 
Kevlar body armour and a tin hat. It can get 'interesting' on here.

Other than that, I would go with some bundled kit purchases for better discounts. Take a look around the test-meter site (forum sponsor).
