starting in Colchster in September ... Fingers crossed!

had my trade test and a tour and talk around Colchester Institute on Wednesday.

The test was a simple numeracy and literacy test which i completed in 15 minutes.

Should hear back in the next couple of weeks with an invitation to enrol or if i have been unsuccessful.

Thanks for all the threads and post from all on here..... i find myself reading through this forum every day at work!

Good luck to anyone else who is starting a college course soon!!

Glad it seems to have gone well, hope it all works out well.

well i had an email last week to let me know i have been sucessful in getting a place.

i have a meeting at my current job to see if they can in my college commitments with work (they have been telling me they could since Jan and now all of a sudden they don't think it will be possible)

bought a couple of basic maths books i plan to complete by the end of July.

Got a place, well done, now you just need to get your best negotiating hat on for convincing work to agree to the previously stated availability of college days!!
Hope they can be convinced.
