Hey this is the course im doing 'Electrical Installation Technical Level 2 CG 2330' Electrical Installation Technical Level 2 CG 2330 Bristol at City Of Bristol College: all Electrical Installation Technical Level 2 CG 2330 courses 29827870

Its going to take me 2 years doing every monday 9-5. My question's

1. are there any other smaller courses i can do whilst on this 2 year course?

2. What courses should i be looking to start after this one is completed? (I want to be a fully qualified domestic electrican)

Im starting a new job for my uncle in a few weeks as he is in the house refurbishment business. I hoping to pick up general building skills along the way aswell as getting qualified as a sparky.

3. Since there are new qualifications coming out soon is it a waste of time doing this course?

Cheers!

Look at the reply in this thread re: courses being changed... http://www.electriciansforums.net/e...cal-technology-c-g-2330-level-2-year-1-a.html

Regarding smaller courses, you'll cover PAT testing in your 2 year course. Id recommend focusing on the other skills you can pick up from your uncle.

Chasing walls, plastering, and all the finishing touches that will make your domestic work look clean and nice.

Only thing to consider for domestic work is your Part P registration but this will come after your qualification.
