starting my nvq

looking to start my NVQ soon and i was wondering, which is the best way to go about starting it and is there a specific company out there which is better than others?

how long did it take to complete yours?

with the lack of funding out there the company durham has posted will be the cheapest way to go. i think it`s the one posted the other week for around £550 which is an excellent price

I also used Delta and as mentioned the help given was excellent.
It took me at most 6 months to complete.

i did mine in 3 months and got asked why i had done it so fast when they had some on the books for 2 years having to bend their ears to get on with it. end of the day i had done the work matched the units and wanted the qual so it just got put in. it`s a breeze to do if you tie all the units to the jobs. good luck with it

took me around 14 months get mine done but i struggled becuase when on site i kept forgetting take notes pics and saved docs becuased i was being rushed to get jobs done as quick as possible

if you take notes ie address start date and completion date of the job get photo copys of verts and most important get pics, witnes statements or even manufactureres instructions and copys of wholesaleres invoices/deleivery notes

then its the write ups now the questions on there arent worded well but you have to write the answers up in detail rite down to the size of fixings you used

did mine recently and completed in 10 weeks but they had to hold it back for a while to meet minimum accepted time requirements by city guilds.
