Have not long done my part p also have 236 and 17th and am trying to get work in have done the following:

leafets, website, van sign written, local paper joined yell and yellow pages

but don't seem to get much feed back any ideas

Its the same everywhere.

You just have to keep plugging away.

The beginning will be the hardest as word of mouth will secure further work and relationships with builders etc will help

Somthing I read on here I think, Get a poloshirt with your Company Name and Tel in big letters on the back, get it done well, may cost you £20-30 quid but if you go cheap it just looks bad, the company I used is called Top-Stitch(www.top-stitch.co.uk), they were very good!

Now put on the Poloshirt & work trousers, pick up a load of buisness cards and walk around B&Q, Wikes etc. Mainly around the electrical items, also walking around supermarkets is good. People will stop you and ask for advice, give some but obviously giving out free advice aint gonna help you! lol
