Starting up a company????

hello people i am wanting to start my own company but have no clue where to start do i see an accountant for advice??? what did you guys do regarding regisering your company, business accounts, company logo etc

you only need to register as self employed with HMRC unless you are forming a LTD. company. as for the business account, see your bank.

As Tel says also try having a look through the businesslink website that has general information on how to start up a company and what you need to do.
You can design your own company logo as you swish so long as it is not infringing someone else's logo, offensive, etc.

Unless you've got some contracts /customers lined up already it would maybe a good idea to get in touch with someone that can help you with your marketing, company profile etc.

It's worth getting right first time. I wouldnt go down the route of vista print business cards etc.

Think i initially allowed myself £500 - £700 for marketing :

Company logo
Basic website
Business card design + print
A6 flyers design + print
Polo shirts
