Hi all im new to the site so ill just get on with it:-

Ive been working as an electrician for the last 4 years excluding apprenticeship, fully qualified and 17th ed.

Im planing to start up on my own (with a little help from you guys) and my question is becoming niciec. i understand that i need to have work ready to present to them however this work should be tested i imagine before they come out to access me. because ive been employed for 7 years im not to sure how things are done any other way.

the work i want to do will be domestic but also in schools nd light comercial so i dont think a straight domestic installer qual will cover it.

any help or maybe some links would be great

ps i will contact the niciec but its a little late tonight and was just wondering now..

cheers all.
