hi guys
i've been out of the trade for 2 years doing site management.
but now want to get back into it and work for myself. bad timing i know.
just wondering how much on average do you think it would cost setting up.
including van, advertising, testing course, gear, nic, insurances and so on.
also is there anyway i can set up the company and still work for my current employer
to see how it goes.as i don't know how this would work in terms of the taxman.

all advice appreciated.:)

You could set yourself up for about 3 grand.

van 1500
17th edition course - 350
test equipment - 400
Liability insurance - 100
elecsa registration - 400
tools -300
17th edition books/osg - 100

and this would pretty much cover you to get part p registered. Not so sure about the other question though mate.
