wiring a dormer type house-3 heating zones +hot water

zone 1 -downstairs living area-stat in hallway

zone 2 -3 downstairs bedrooms-stat in master bedroom over lightswitch?

zone 3 -1 upstairs bedroom,bathroom ,games room-stat in landing area or games room?

-i wan't to get stat locations right-i've no bother on the wiring

You would normally fit the stat in the coolest area. So I'd have thought games room as the hallway will be warmed by heat rising from downstairs.

you would normally fit it in the hall way as this is a general area coving all the rooms but away from the rad

i've attached a sketch of upstairs-just wondering on location

looked at this with the plumber-think were going with lobby

wasn't aware of the lobby originally til studwork went up

I would install it on the landing covers all area's then
